- Q. Why should I sign up for a 2nd Chance Checking Account & Direct Deposit Access Card? What features does it include?

1. Direct Deposit Bank Account: You will have your own FDIC insured checking account. You can pay your bills electronically or have your account debited. There is No Credit Check or Chexsystems verification.
2. Debit MasterCard: You will receive a Debit MasterCard that allows you to make purchases anywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted and access cash at over 900,000 ATM locations worldwide. You can setup your paycheck to be direct deposited into your Checking account. You may use your debit MasterCard at no cost (No POS Fee), saving you from costly check cashing fees and the risk of carrying cash.
3. You never have to deal with the hassles of check cashing. No more waiting for mail to arrive, lost or stolen checks, standing in a long line to cash your check or showing ID.
Q. How do I start my direct deposit?
Employees:
You must contact your employer’s Human Resources or Payroll Department & provide them with your account number & routing number. Your employer usually has special forms to fill out before they can begin your direct deposit. A. This bank account is designed for direct deposit, but you may deposit cash to the account via MoneyGram or wire transfer
Q. How do I qualify for a 2nd Chance Checking account & Debit MasterCard?
A. If your employer or source of income offers Direct Deposit, you are already qualified! Just fill out our simple questionnaire and provide one form of picture ID. You may fax or mail your application back to us.
Q. Is there a credit check?
A. No. There is no credit check or Chexsystems verification.
Q. How do I know if my pay was deposited to the Access Card?
A. On payday, money is already available with your Access Card! You will also get a pay stub with all the usual tax deductions and other information from your employer.
Q. How do I get my pay?
A. You can make purchases at any retailer displaying the MasterCard logo, or withdraw cash 24 hours a day at any automated teller machine.
Q. How do I determine my account balance?
A. Information is available 24 hours a day, using an 800 number and a touch-tone phone. You also get a monthly statement showing all deposits, withdrawals, purchases and fees for the month.
Q. What are the monthly fees associated with this card**?
A. Free MasterCard Signature point of sale or purchase transactions (POS).
$10.00 monthly maintenance/statement fee and a $2.00 ATM cash withdrawal fee. You may check your balance for free by calling toll free. (See complete detail on account disclosure documents) As you see, these charges are much less than check cashing fees. (Example: Check casher charges $18.00 to cash $600 checks at 3% fee

A. Yes. All accounts are FDIC insured up to $100,000.
Q. What if I already have a checking account? Do I need to close it?
A. No, you may have both. All you have to do is sign up for the Cash Access Card and have your direct deposit go to the ACCESS card
